How it Works
So how does it work?
Step 1: Post us your gear – or drop it off if you’re passing!
You post your gear to us, or if you’re in the lake district and passing please call to arrange dropping it off.
Please send us your gear in a clean condition, and include the following details:
- Your Name
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Return postal address
- The repair request
Please do not reproof any waterproof garments prior to the repair as this can affect tape adhering to them. Do not cover any tears with tape. If you have already done so, please (if possible) remove the tape prior to sending them to us.
If your repair is losing down, we recommend tying with an elastic band or place the repair in a bag to help seal the tear during post.
Step 2: We’ll issue you with a quote
Once your items are received they will be assessed and you will be contacted with a quote.
Step 3: We complete the repair, arrange payment and send it back to you
After your repair is completed you will be invoiced for payment via BACs or cheque, once payment is received your item will be posted back to you. Postage is £6.50 for a Royal Mail 2nd class signed service. For heavier, bulky items or items of high value we will endeavour to get the appropriate postage at the best price for you. This will be arranged with you and quoted once your item is assessed.
Step 4: Enjoy the outdoors after your sustainable repair!
Then you get to go outdoors, have fun and adventures with your prize possession fully functioning again.

Please send all repairs to us in a clean condition. It doesn’t need to be freshly laundered, just not covered in bog with an aroma of camping for a week without washing! If possible, remove tape you may have placed over any tears. Please do not re-proof any waterproof garments as this can sometimes hinder the adhesion of tape to the repair. Don’t forget to include with your repair the following: Repair request, contact details inc. name, telephone number, email, and return address.
